Professional Master’s in Cultural Heritage and Social Projects:

What is the duration of the Professional Master’s in Cultural Heritage and Social Projects?

The standard duration of the Professional Master's Program is four semesters.

What is the curriculum like?

In addition to product development, students must take three mandatory subjects (“History of Brazil”, “Culture and society” and “Final Paper Seminar”), three optional subjects and two tutorial seminars (activities to be defined by the advisor), each worth three credits or 45 class hours.

What time do the tuition sessions take place?

Tuition sessions can take place from Monday to Friday, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Does the program take place on campus or online?

In 2023 an obligatory discipline for the Professional Doctorate and Master’s will be offered solely in-person. It will be held between 27 – 31 March, from 9:00 – 18:00. Another obligatory discipline for the Professional Doctorate and Master’s will be offered solely in-person and will be held between 11-15 September, from 9:00 – 18:00. Presentations and defences for the Professional Doctorate and Master’s will be in-person. All remaining disciplines and qualification exams will be online.

Can I complete any subjects through other master’s or doctor’s programs?

Yes. One of the optional subjects may be replaced by a subject from another graduate program recognized by Capes, provided that this is previously communicated to the Coordinators of this Program and is worth at least three credits (45 class hours).

Are any tuition fees due in this program?

Yes. Cash price is BRL 21,513.60. It can also be paid in 24 installments of BRL 996.00.

Professional Doctoral Program:

What is the duration of the Professional Doctoral Program in Cultural Heritage and Social Projects?

The standard duration of the Professional Doctoral program is eight semesters.

What is the curriculum like?

The Professional Doctoral Program curriculum should cover, in addition to product development, five mandatory subjects (“History of Brazil” and “Research Methods and Design,” “Culture and Society,” “Final Paper Seminar” and “Advanced Seminar on Product Development”; one optional subject and four tutorial seminars (activities to be defined by the advisor), each worth three credits or 45 class hours.

Tuition sessions can take place from Monday to Friday, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Is it possible to transfer credits from the Professional Master's Program?

If a student attending the Professional Doctoral Program has graduated from the Professional Master's Program in Cultural Heritage and Social Projects less than 5 (five) years prior, they will be exempted from taking the mandatory subjects “History of Brazil” and “Culture and Society.”
